Maintenance

To request service under this limited warranty, please contact us at loti@tensai.pt and provide the following information:

• Purchaser’s name

• Proof of purchase

• Dated receipt

• Purchased product

• Detailed description of the fault or issue

All warranty claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty period.

Most warranty-related issues are handled remotely via email or telephone, with the support of a LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE technician.

If a repair covered under this warranty is required, LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE will supply the necessary replacement part(s). However, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Most component repairs or replacements are carried out by the customer. If the customer is unable to complete the required repairs, LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE may, at its discretion, contribute towards labour costs by covering an estimated average rate of €50 per hour, for a maximum of 2 hours, for an approved general service provider.
(Hourly rate subject to validation per country.)

After the warranty period has expired, LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE may continue to provide reasonable telephone support, where deemed appropriate. However, all associated costs (parts, labour, shipping, etc.) shall be borne entirely by the customer.

• 2 years — Domestic users (residential use)

• 1 year — Professional users (commercial use)

A warranty extension up to a total of 4 years may be purchased at the time of equipment acquisition, for an additional fee.

Warranty repairs must be carried out exclusively by service technicians authorized by LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE.

Repair costs will not be reimbursed if the repair is performed:

• By the customer

• By a third party

• By a service provider not authorized by LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE

The warranty will be explicitly voided if the customer carries out repairs themselves or engages third parties without prior written approval and cost estimation from LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE. Any work carried out without such approval is not covered by this warranty.

This warranty covers the following main LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE components:

• Compressors

• Condenser and heating system

• Fans (may be replaced without a certified refrigeration technician)

• Temperature sensors

• Vacuum pump

• UV filter of the water pump

• Control panel

Warranty on replaced parts

When defective parts are replaced with new parts, the replacement part will carry a separate 1-year warranty from the date of replacement.
This does not reinstate or extend the original standard warranty period. The remaining original warranty period remains valid.

During any additional warranty year, if one or more of the components listed above fail, LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE will provide a new or repaired component free of charge. The decision to repair or replace rests solely with LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE. This extended warranty does not include labour or any other costs related to removal, replacement or installation.

2. Damage caused by misuse of the LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE

3. Damage caused by transport or relocation carried out by the customer

4. Leaving the LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE outdoors at temperatures equal to or below 0 °C

5. Damage caused by foreign objects entering the unit (e.g. glasses, toys)

6. Use of substances other than cold water

7. Normal wear and tear or negligence

8. Damage caused by fire, flooding, rainwater, theft, vermin or insect infestation, or unjustified outdoor exposure

9. Improper installation, operation, maintenance or use contrary to LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE instructions and specifications

10. Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, accidents, incorrect voltage, power surges, thunderstorms, or self-repair without consulting LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE

11. Damage caused by the use of corrosive chemicals

12. Damage caused by water or liquid ingress into electrical components due to negligence

13. Damage caused by severe overheating due to negligence, such as covering ventilation fans, obstructing heat exchange surfaces with towels or clothing, or positioning the unit too close to walls

14. Consumables and accessories such as filters, water hoses and covers

15. Damage caused by intentional or reckless actions by the customer or third parties

Failure to comply with the instructions outlined in the User Manual automatically invalidates the application of this warranty.

Natural Wood Use

LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE wooden covers are made from natural wood. As a natural material, wood may present variations in colour, grain or minor imperfections, which are considered natural characteristics and not defects.

For outdoor units, some deterioration may occur due to climatic exposure, even with proper treatment. If not adequately maintained, wooden surfaces may be subject to dents, scratches or other damage. Each unit may present variations in shape, size and finish. Over time, product designs may evolve, resulting in minor differences compared to images shown online. While every effort is made to ensure high quality, LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE is not responsible for natural wood material variations.

This warranty excludes all other warranties, conditions or undertakings, whether express or implied, except where prohibited by law.

This warranty is valid for domestic/residential and professional use only. Repairs carried out by individuals or entities not approved by LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE are not covered. The owner of the LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE assumes full responsibility for any unauthorized repairs.

The manufacturer’s liability, if any, shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product covered by this warranty. LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to transport damage or loss of use of the unit, even if LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE was advised of the possibility of such damages.

This limited warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE and supersedes any prior, contrary or additional representations. All other warranties, express or implied, including statutory warranties or conditions of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore the above limitation may not apply to you.

LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE is not responsible for compliance with local building codes, health or safety regulations.

This warranty does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights under applicable legislation.
